Though I don't show my face or real name due to privacy, I am a very real person!
I read dozens of books a year, crochet, bake when the feeling strikes, and work as an art therapist.I own some chickens, I listen to podcasts when I quilt, and I try to work out at least a few times a week - helps to keep me focused.
I keep to-do lists because I can't remember what to do if I don't write it down
and because crossing items off makes me feel productive and victorious.
I love my families (biological and married) and am fortunate to have a several very good friends.
I have endometriosis, which through 3 surgeries, has caused me to lose quite a bit of my ovaries, and leaves the prospect of natural conception a mystery. Endo luckily causes me currently little to no daily pain, though I must watch what I eat because certain foods will affect the way I feel. As a result, I read a lot of books on health, foods, and nutrition and mention this in the hope that it can help change another woman's life.
I have blogged since February 2008 and read blogs for a least a year before making a decision to launch my own. At some point I deleted many of the early posts, enlarged photographs, and decided on a format I liked. This blog is a way to record my thoughts, visual images, and links. Thanks for reading.
