Snowmageddon 2014

 

 

I believe we received over a foot of snow, with more where it drifts. Today and tomorrow, the high will be 1*F. The coldest it has been in some time. I do really love the snow, I love the silence, the whiteness, the clarity, the calm, and the time to be inside: baking granola, lemon bars, making peanut and pineapple soup, and homemade pizza, sewing, reading, watching season 3 of Portlandia, watching The Man From Snowy River, putting blankets on the floors and under the doors, doing jumping jacks and drinking hot orange tea to keep warm. And taking pictures.
