our only snow so far

 this was two weeks ago, a beautiful snow with a sunny day. and, for me, a snow day which helped me catch up on household chores and some quality reading time.

for the record, chickens do not enjoy snow, whether falling (think Chicken Little) or on the ground. They barely will walk on it and want their coop run to be gently mussed so they can recognize their familiar ground. They also do not stray from the path. It seems the only thing chickens like about the snow is when it melts it makes it easier for them to find worms and bugs.
