noticing the scene

 I have been intermittently taking photos of the scene as I see it in the moment; sometimes that is after I tidy up or organize a space but often that is in the middle of the chaos -- whatever that may be: cooking, reading, playing, etc. 

For example, below are two images of my mother in law's kitchen right after she put two pumpkin pies in the oven for the Thanksgiving meal. The light coming in highlighted the flour, utensils and surfaces.
